Hello to all,
I am new to the forum and really excited about finding it. I am definitely not a professional but I really enjoy making pictures. They usually turn out really well but I just found out after picking up $50 worth of fish pictures, which I had developed on a CDs, I DON'T KNOW THE FIRST THING ABOUT MAKING PICTURES OF FISH. So, I am hoping to learn a lot from you folks here. I am now in the process of setting up my sixth aquarium which is a 312 gallon saltwater tank.

I started my first thread last night and when I tried to reply to a post this morning, it would not let me. It kept giving me an error message which said "Invalid Session". So I sent a PM to the person who replied to my thread and it went through just fine. Is anyone else experiecing this problem or do I have something set wrong?

Thanks again and looking forward to meeting everyone,
Bryant

Welcome to the forum, brbrown.

The problems you are experiencing are unexplainable but happen once in a blue moon. Probably database problems or people working on the server side.

Look through the forums, there is a ton of advice there, and in the articles section which is slowly growing.

Ask questions, the more you ask the more help you will get.

Keep in mind , most people here have digital not film cameras, so keep the advice as such

Welcome

paradise and Grant,
Thanks a lot for the welcomes! I am looking forward to talking to all of you folks and learning a lot from you. I have already starting learning a lot just in the short time I have been here. This is a very informative forum and I am glad I found it.

Thanks again,
Bryant

Hi Grant,
I think it is as paradise said, I think it is something with the server because sometimes the post will go through the first time and sometimes I have to submit it 5-10 times before it will go through. I learned to copy it before I submit it though, that way if it doesn't go through it is not all lost, I can just re-paste it and try again,

Thanks,
Bryant

Grant,
Thanks and I am sure I will be asking plenty of DUMP "newbie" questions. Especially once I get my new camera outfit. I think I finally made up my mind to go with the Nikon D70 Outfit plus I want to add a macro lens and a good flash. I am going to have to put it on layaway for a couple of months but I think it will definitely be worth the wait when I get it.

Thanks again for your help,
Bryant
