Hi everyone I am new to the forum. I'm planning on getting a stingray shortly. I've tried doing as much research as I can. I do not want to do anything halfa$$. I originally was going to use a 55 gallon tank, but decided it's just too small for even the smallest of stingrays. I've been trying to find a good deal on a larger tank. I've came across a 120 gallon tank 60"x18"x26". I'd really like to do a 180 gallon but they're not any reasonable as of right now. I have no problem upgrading when needed rather it's in 6 months or 5 years. The tank has 6 holes 3 in the back 2 on the left and 1 on the right. I'm assuming that was done for filter purposes? I have not bought the tank yet, that is way I am posting to get some feedback on what I should do. If this is a good idea, what kind of filters should be used? I want the best filtration. Thanks guys.

which is a good thing? do sump pump systems usually require 6 holes or would that mean more then one sump pump was being used?

welcome!

6 holes seems like alot. where are the holes located? sounds like a sump to me too....
