As the title says, I am new to inverts... well the aquatic kind.
Once I buy a few bulk tanks, I am thinking about starting a tank dedicated to keeping some easy to care for inverts, more along the lines of crayfish or the bigger sized shrimp.
While I would absolutely love to keep them in a planted tank, and have them look amazing, I would prefer them to be bred easily over anything else, so that I can use them for feeders.
My main goal is to be able to feed them to adult firemouth cichlids so they would have to be on the smaller side, yet hopefully big enough to feed them to some larger cichlids, such as Green Terrors.
I'll be able to use a 30 US Gallon tank to keep and breed them in, unless there are smaller species such as a 10g, that I'd be able to use.
