hey all I have been interested in salt for about 6 months now and I have an empty 29G at my house since I upgrade to a 90G for my Piranha. I was thinking of just doing so live sand and live rock wall with a coral or two and I would like to do a maroon clown fish. I understand salinty well and plan to use a emporer 350 for filter and I have a power head to use. I know I need to get i different light for it. I have the tank setup empty and just the filter and heater attached with no water in it yet or sand and what not. I plan to get more started in two weeks as I started a second job to help get this going lol. I'm thinking of doing the nano reef tank idea. I could use help with, the lighting I should use due to the want of corals, and with the maroon clown fish can I get a few cleaner shrimp with this idea or would that not work? thanks.

this light is about 6 inches shorter then the tank but more the plenty of power. Get a glass top and set the light right on the top. use the legs to elevate to light to ensure good air flow around the bulbs:

Also, cleaner shrimp would be fine with the maroon. You will want to have the shrimp first, so they can get large enough before you get the maroon. 9 times out of 10 you will have no problems.
