Hi all,
I'm Atik, from Birmingham, UK.
Just getting my tank up and running, and a friend of mine suggested this is the best place for forum advice and information.
I'm not new to forums (actually, I'm an administrator on a car owners club that uses the exact same build of VBulletin), so I can hopefully spend some time lurking to absorb some information and tips, and I hope to learn as much as I can about this spectacular hobby.
Anyway, I have a small 60 litre Juwel tank, and this week I put four neon tetras in there. They seem to be doing really well, and it may be over-kill, but for the three days they've been in, I've been testing the water twice a day and so far, all the colours look good. I'm aiming to introduce some more tetras next week, with the aim of adding three Corydoras, and 'maybe' one Siamese Fighting Fish in a month or two.
I've also got some more 'landscaping' to do, which I hope to complete next week before the new fish go in.
Anyway, below (if the uploader works) should be a quick picture of the setup at the moment. Apologies for the rubbish photo quality, but it was taken on my mobile phone. I'll get some clearer pics if people are interested. You can just about make out the four tetras shoaling in the middle of the tank.
