Hi,
Just wanted to say hello and start my first thread ...
I have been keeping 3 reticulated stingrays (2 females) for just over 20 months. I did a fair bit of research prior to the purchase and chose the Reticulata because of it's smaller size and I was not in the position to purchase a 300 gallon tank. So much for that idea... the 300 is creeping ever closer to the top of the must have list and have been beating down the VP finance (spouse) slowly but surely.
Currently they are housed in a 125 gallon with between 3 and 20 feeders at any given time. Other than the feeders they eat earthworms and bloodworms. The freeze dried Mysis shrimp dissapears but I do not see them pounce on it.
I have had a few trials and tribs over the months but the rays eat and are in the range of 9 - 10 inches in diameter.
This site contains so much information it is almost overwhelming.... and I could live without the dark background. But hey...
Anyway here I am...
Totally
Clouxles (well not quite)
