Hello everyone.

I am still rather new to aquariums, but have fish that have out grown their tank. I have purchased a 210 gallon tank and I'm in the middle of getting the plumbing installed, wet/dry, over flows and drilled. I hope to glen from you seasoned vets - as much as I can so as to make as few mistakes as possible.

The tank is drilled with one 1 inch bottom drain - that is about to change. I will be drilling the tank for 2 - 1 1'2 inch bottom drains.

I'm building a Wet/Dry filer - and plumbing, flow rates, and how big a pump will be needed is still questionable in my mind.

I think I have calculated a turnover rate of a little over 11 times per hour - wondering if my Oscars are going to be smashed against the side of the tank by the flow of water coming out of the pump.

Looking forward to discussing my latest money pit with you all.

210 Gallon - empty
55 Gallon - 10 inch Oscar, 5 inch Oscar, 4 inch - pain in th butt African Cichlid
20 gallon - 1 lonely fancy goldfish

Welcome!!!
