This is my first post, it took me some time to figure out how to place it. Now that I have this part figured out it should all be down hill from here.So far I have 3 tanks up and running. 90 gal fresh community tank, 90 gal fresh semi agressive african cichild tank and a 210 gal fresh "I want to kill you" tank.
My 210 I have 3 jaridini's mixed with Jaguar's. The two larger jardini's were beating the hell out of the smaller jardini so I introduced some larger dither fish to run interferance. I added large tin foil barbs & large silver dollars which so far seems to be a good distraction. Besides if the jardini's kill the tin foils and the silver dollars I wont be to heart broken. So far the distraction is working & has allowed the smaller jardini to lick his wounds and come out of hiding.
So far the Jardini's are young approx 6 inches. I am aware of their nasty dispostion when they get bigger, that's what makes them fun. I've owned them before and I think they are simply an awesom fish. I made my purchases with the expectation of loosing a few and/or several. The Jaguar's and the Jardini's do fight usually with the Jaguar getting put in their place.
