How goes it people. I'm new here, my name is Paul, and I guess I will give a little info on my tank setup. I own a 4'' Elongatus Piranha. He is in "Piranha Heaven" with his 100 Gallon tank, 5' long. I am using Florite under my Natural Gravel for the plants. I have 3 tall Amazon Sword Plants, 4 Java Ferns, and a few other plants. I will post pictures soon I promise! :headbang2

Also I know a kinda pricey hook up for Piranhas for those of us who have legal conflicts with the state we live in. Ask me more if you want me to give you the info, I feel we all should be able to own a piranha!! :clap

Hey . i've only been on a month or so. Welcome though

Hello CrypticSins,

I'm new to this forum too, but I have been keeping "Moster Fish" on and off now for around 30 years (I'm 43 yo). We just had twin girls 3 months ago so I decided to give away my Giant Centipede, Tarantula, and reptile collection (mainly because they were always escaping & I did not want to take the chance of them being bitten). We are getting our basement remodeled & I want to set up a few large tankls now with a few extotic cats & a South American Arowana. I'll start out with a 55 that I already own & may go to 100 when the fish grow to about a foot. 100 Gal for one Pihrana is a heaven & 'm sure your fish will be as happy as a fish can be. I agree that people shopuld have the right to opwn Pihranas. I was in Manous, Brazil about 2 years ago & they are everywhere, so there is no fear of shortage. In fact, the local folks catch them with string on a stick & make stew. I tried some & it is good but a bit boney. Send your fish our love!
