New to NTT

I picked up 2 NTT. One at 4.5" and one at 3". I can't wait to see these guys at 15".

I love NTT's. Good luck with them. Treat them for IP's right away as they seem to be more susceptible. And you're going to be waiting a long time for 15" lol

What's ip? Ick? These appears to b ick free. How long to get to 15"? Is it better to raise them at this size in a 40 breeder or 265g? Big NTT is still not eating but he's chunky and should last. All he's doing is hide.

Internal parasites. Use PraziPro. Probably take about 3 years+ to reach 15"

I had an NTT that grew to 12". The guy I bought him from raised him from 1" in 2009 to 10" in 2012. So i think some of them can grow faster than others. Its still a slow rate compared to a lot of other fish, but not as bad as geos or clown loaches or fish like that.

I have 10 of them. They grow slow. Mine are a foot at 3 years I got them when they were 1".
