So I just moved from Wisconsin to Sandusky Ohio and need some help from you Ohio fish keepers. First I was wondering if any of you have shopped for fish in Sandusky if you could point me in the direction of a good store to acquire fish from. Was also looking for what stores to avoid. lastly I used to use the site minnfish.com to help support the local breeders. Does anyone know if there is a site like this for Ohio.


Any help or just chat would be awesome.

or to toledo and hit up daves tropical fish. depends on what your looking for. and which is closer.

daves always has mala wolf fish, since he breeds them.

along with aro's , gars, red tail cats. jags,
 
i wasnt too impressed with Daves Tropical Fish...small cramped and puppies in cages, fish tanks were dirty IMO.

Pictures on his website don't do the store justice. Owner's name is Steve and he builds his own tanks, real nice guy and real smart. He was actually one of the owners of RMS when they first got started. Not sure how officially open they are now, I think weekends. But if you call ahead sometimes he will be there and let you in at other times.

What exactly are you looking for in terms of fish? Also there are fish auctions around here quite a bit. In terms of ones I am aware of coming up
S.C.A.L.E.S. auction on june 26th in Massillon, OH
and Ultra-Aqua in Tallmadge on July 10th, the show July 9th. I was at that one last year, had quite a bit of stuff.
