I work at a LFS and we got 2 Pbass at about 2" a piece if that. I was wondering at what size can you fairly accurately ID them? I'd like to know what they are before I even consider getting any. I'll try to get a picture by tonight.

a picture would help a lot, and it all depends on the speices for the size, but usually the average size is 20"+

I'm familiar with how large they get, I already have datnoids. I know the growth rate is different but I've planned accordingly. I have a picture, it's not great but I'll post it in a sec.

To Gage-I think those might be temensis, it's been forever since I've seen juvi temensis but my gut tells me that....

To Jeep-it's either a spangled ocellaris or brokopondo-I'm not all too familiar with the differences between the two as for ID purposes...

Lol-that's what I get shooting my mouth off, the head shape does look strange, seemed really streamlined to me which made me think temensis... Again I've never seen much as far as brokos yet...so live and learn!
