The Jardini no, it will eventually kill the pbass and your other stock, I know from experience of owning 2. The knife should be fine as long as it's bigger and I'm not sure of what a clown cat is???

No, its a synodontis clown cat.

You have heard of synodontis catfish right? Mine is about 6 inches long and it hides in a small house I have on the bottom of my 75 gallon.

My jardini is a wuss, it doesn't go for anything and its already about 10 inches.

My jardini only goes for the ones that attack, I have heard of people trying their luck and succeeding in keeping Pbass with Jardinis.

Good luck, my first one snapped at 8" the second at 17". The cat will be good till the Pbass outgrow it and can eat it.

I would say no with the Jar. I had one, it was tank mates with pbass, until he killed them. He also killed a scomb payara which was bigger than him. They're aggressive fish.

Pbass are surely strong enough, right? I'm sure, they are very powerful fish and attack head on!
