new to pikes need id and info

Hey mfk picked up a new pike today from a local store in a trade. Its wild from uraguay he knew the id but i couldnt say it or pronounce it what kind is it? Any info or tips on how to pellet train it?

Crenicichla scottii

I usually start by feeding them chopped up market shrimp and eventually after they "learn" that you feed them, you can shift them to pellets.*
