What would be a good first plant for a 55g aquarium with 2 watts per gallon lighting? Basically a good beginner plant.

Hornwort is almost fail proof and has good growth rate. To me, it's an excellent plant all the way around.
What type of stock do you keep in the tank? In my Cichlid tanks, they leave the plants alone for the most part. In my community tank, they eat the hornwort the moment I plant it lol.
