New to shrimp

Currently got a large mature blue cray in my 100L (uk) tank.

Looking to expand on my 10L (UK) small tank that currently only has a betta fish in it. Its running an undergravel filter, not ideal I know but should be okay with a low bio load and weekly changes.

Are shrimp safe to put in with an under gravel filter and the betta fish?

I have seen ghost shrimp and armoured shrimp in the LFS recently, would these suit? Can change the undergravel filter out for an internal if necesary.

I would try ghost shrimp first. Bettas often prey on shrimp
