Greetings everyone! I'm glad I found this site and it only took me a day of lurking to figure out where this intro area was so I could post! 
We really just started in this hobby after researching and talking for the last several months. We've had small tanks w/ gold fish & betas (not together of course!) throughout the years, but nothing of any magnitude. And of course, like we do everything, we went big, probably too big to start! So I have a TON of questions ...
Right now we have my son's beta in a vase type tank with a plant, which is easy enough. Our newest addition though is the one driving my qwest for knowledge, AND great enjoyment ... a Fahaka Puffer, and he's quite amazing!
So like I said we went big right away.
We're currently hand building a fish stand & hood for our other 90 gallon aquarium and our plan for that one is an African Cichlid tank.
Looking forward to everything I can learn from all of the experts here!!!
