hey all, just getting my 29 gal. tank emptied out.. I planned on finally getting a sump to the 110. no its not drained. I saw a little flash of a guy using a homer bucket or a rubber maid container(small) in the tank he was using.... does this work instead of building baffles. im not into refugiums or anything... just wanted to stick my protein skimmer, heater and pump down below... i figured alittle extra water cant hurt either.
now I was thinking of a mag 7 for a return pump... is that sounding right? about 5 to 7 times turnover. the tank is a 110 tall so i got about 10 feet of head pressure i figure. 6 ft. height, and a couple of 90 degree turns... again, ive never done this before. so lemme know before i go drop the last of the pennies in this project.. thanks again all.
:nilly:

Try doing a search of the forum for DIY wet-dry filters. Not being rude, just letting you know there is a ton of ideas on here.

thanks all.
