new to the board...

hi all,

i'm new to the forum but am looking forward to participating and learning a lot from this site! i have just gotten to know Ed recently and told him i'd be hitting him up for some tips on photography, etc. he told me to come to the board to check things out so here i am!

i'm a graduate student at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. i'm studying fish ecology for my Master's and PhD. my main areas of interest hobby-wise are in primitive predatory fishes as well as native fishes of the midwest.

hoping to learn a lot from this board and looking forward to checking out the site--

What's up Solomon. Finally made it. If I sold my cameras more often I would have this place full of members :cheesy: :cheesy: Look through the posts and then post a few pics in Photography 101, there is lots of 717 help, lots of the guys here use it, including CDM, Dracofish, and a few others. I did too, but you know what happened to that.
