Hello Everyone,
I am fairly new to the fish pond world. My parents had a fish pond they no longer wanted to keep up with. It was a preformed pond. I brought the fish home last year and put them in a 55 Gallon Tank. There were 5 comets and two koi. Two months ago I started to build my self a little tropical retreat off of the back of the house. I am just about finished. I purchased a larger Koi about 18 inches long and it is in the pond with the others. I am not sure how many gallons the pond is though as it is an odd shape so I will measure it soon enough. I love the site and have seen tons of cool outdoor ponds. I have been bitten by the bug and as soon as I finish setting this one up I hav an area in my yard I am going to put a 12'X8'x4' pond. Bigger is better. Hope to make new friends in the fish world and have already had people answers some questions for me which is great.
