hi everyone. i'm new to the forum. i started getting back into cichlids after a couple years of absence in keeping fish in general, but am now back in full swing. :naughty:

i have three tanks with the following
40 gallon - female festae (5.5-6"), male festae (4.5") and a carpintes (4.5")
40 gallon - pair of jags (male 6.5", female ~5")
55 gallon - midas (8"), male festae (8")

as i've found out (and probably others in the classifieds forum :grinno: ) i'm pretty bad when it comes to taking pictures of fish in the aquarium. i am going to blame it on poor lighting

but in any case, here are some pictures of my fish. the jags have some free swimming fry as of wednesday :headbang2 and here they are. i will post more pictures later.
try and enjoy :D

didnt you see the picture of the festae below the jag pictures...?

well the fish are all separated by egg crate, so right now there's not much to worry about in terms of aggression... so stress is low and all the fish are leading good lives except the mom and dad jags... who wouldn't be stressed out with 300 kids to look after? :nilly:

thanks for the feedback guys! as for jag babies, once they get to size they are definitely on the market for cheap!!
