on the side of my jardini there's a piece of scale missing, and just yesterday it turned black, and today it almost look like it's bleeding from that spot or something. i don't know if it was fighting w/my oscars or chasing other fish and scratched itself against the rocks...
anyone know if this is a illness or should I do something urgent? the fish is fine other than that spot, good appetite, chase other fishes around, very energetic.

here are some pix:

Keep up on water changes...Keep the tank clean. Watch all fish involved to ensure that it doesn't happen again. How big is your Jar?

doesnt look like anything to be worried about...hopefully it will heal up by itself...nice looking Jar by the way ;) ... in the first pic i didnt even notice the missing scale, lol ...
