aye guys my name is Jeremy i reside in San Diego, CA and im 16 turning 17 in a couple weeks.
i don't have any super cool fish like most of you guys on her but i do have a big goldfish and a nice sized pleco.
i got the goldfish when he/she was only about 2 inchs long from my aunt who was a teacher. this goldfish survied kids poking and a whole summer of no food or water changes. She wanted to get rid of them one day and i said ill take them. i got the 10 gallon tank with gravel, filter, fake rock, and fake plants. the same day i got the goldfish i got the pleco from walmart (last fish i will ever buy at walmart) he/she was about 3 inches long.
about 3 months after i got them my uncle gave me another fish tank that is plexiglass and about 20 gallons (that's what they are in now) my gold fish is as big as my hand now and the pleco is about 8 inches long. i have had both of them for about 2 years now
the other day i got another pot/ cover for my pleco because the one he/she hangs out in now is to small for his/her size, and the pot didn't fit in the tank. that same day when my uncle picked up his son from my house he said to go see what was in the back of his truck so i did and it was a fish tank. the measurements are approximately 48"X18"X20" it is a long tank. it has the glass tops and lights too. i want to make some moon lights for this tank also. Problem is now i need to build a stand for it.
Any ideas for a homemade tank stand?
has anybody made their own moon light before? (ill search the forum after i post this)
