i am new to this forum but not new to fish or marine preds

i currently have a 40 gallon breeder reef but a tank this size can only keep my interests for so long so i am in the process of setting up a 135 gallon fowlr
here are some details

150lbs Fiji LR
80 gallon sump with coralife superskimmer 220
5 gallon DSB in a bucket
genx 8000 return pump with custom return manifold
72 inch NO strip light
possibly adding 2 seio 1500's for flow not sure about this one yet have to wait till the tanks filled to see

fish will include
pair of blue throat triggers ( i already have the male)
coral cat shark or a bamboo shark
Kole tang
Naso Tang
Dwarf Zebra Lion
copperbanded butterfly
snowflake eel if i can get it in without my wife noticing
starry hermit crabs (hoping to find a couple fo these guys)
and a couple of hundred nassarius snails

now i know that my fish lists is a little big and that some of the fish are not suitable for a tank of this size but i believe in only purchasing juvenile fish and when the time comes i dont try to sell my fish i usually give them away to ensure that they go to a suitable home

Welcome to mfk....I dont keep any saltwater but they are fun to look at (as long as I dont own them) Take your coat off and stay a while, this is a pretty nice place to be:)

welcome to MFK... :welcome:

this is a great site with alot of great ppl to chat with...

Welcome to MFK. I have been keeping marine fish since last september. It is my new addiction and wouldnt give it up for anything. I currently have a 75 fowlr with a regal tang, yellow tang, foxface, a mated pair of maroon clowns, and a blue face angel. After xmas I am going to set up a 200g fowlr tank. Again welcome to MFK. There are a lot of well knowledged people on this site so if you have any questions just ask.

Hello fellow saltwater keeper, glad to have you here...

hum...i would say no sharks, they get to big.......and get rid of one of the tangs...then it should be good BUT triggers MAY bit lions fins..but bluethorats are the nicest trigger IMO.......so i should be fine
