I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I'm Jason and I am from a small town in Massachusetts. I recent stepped into the world of monster fish keeping. I currently am almost finished with my 210 set up and am really excited to become a part of the M.F.K community here!

The fish I currently have for the tank are

2 Red Belly Pacu's
2 Pike Cichlids
1 Clown Knife fish
1 Silver Arowana
1 Spotted Gar
1 South American Bumble Bee Catfish
1 Polypterus Delhezi
1 Lima Shovel Nose Catfish
1 Black Oscar

Since my tank is already about fully stocked I want to only get only a few more fish but I am looking for some extremely strange, odd, and out there fish to finish off my community, any input is more than welcome.

well that's me and my tank in a nutshell, I can't wait to become an active and contributing member of your great community here!!

welcome to the forum! be prepared to catch some flak or the pacu and arowana, lot of people tend to get pissy with tank sizes. other than that hope u enjoy it!

at full growth its a bit small, most people tend to think a 30-36" width is more of a minimum but the biggest thing is that your water is clean and the fish have room to move around

The pacus I am actually up in the air about keeping, they are still small now but are pretty nasty. one of them actually bit my while I was cleaning the tank and sent me to the hospital for stitches. For filtration I am going to be running a custom plumbed filter setup with a Fluval FX5, Marineland Magnum 350 pro, cascade 1000 with a seprate custom 55Gal planted refugium. I am hoping that will be able to handle the fish load and keep everything nice nice.

Thanks Clownknife!! This monster fish addiction actually started with a clownknife that I got as a gift. It is my favorite fish in my community by far, when I feed he tank it will actually come up to the top and eat the feeders out of my hand :-)

thats some awesome filtration! bet that tank stays crystal clear :)
