New to the forum

Hi all I'm new to this forum and fairly new to oscars too, had mine for nearly 2 months.
Looking for some advice regarding substrate.
I currently have white sand and it's a nightmare to keep clean and my ocd has had enough of poop on white sand lol
And suggestions for a better looking substrate, I was thinking maybe gravel.

Welcome.

Black caribe sand is one of my favorites. Also the color of the poop depends on what's being fed. So maybe a change in food would help to mask the contrasting colors if able.
