Hello all, just wanted to say hi and post my tank and new FH.

Think it's a he, and a ZZ not positive though.

60gal long

ever notice that your colors are red, white, and blue? haha, but nice tank

Nice work! I like the scaping. If I tried a setup like that, I'd get cyanobacteria BAD. Something about lava rock in my tanks.... Cool flowerhorn, too. Medium grade is great. I don't like a bold flowerline as much as a nice row of four to six flowers. Looks healthy. Welcome aboard!

Not really, lol but that works. It was initially very dim in there with no plants, and a black background with more of a blue tinted light. I had it setup for frontosa, until i realized i was going to need at least a 125gal tank for a decent colony. So i changed things around and brightened it up a bit for a FH.

Started feeding my flowerhorn grand sumo red/green and placing a mirror up for an hour a day. Been about 3 days and quite surprised that im seeing his red come out more now, I hope he turns into a nice bright red dragon.

Thanks for the welcoming all, and yes Ilovearrowana you know me from another Forum related to flowerhorns that will remain nameless, as i dont know MFK rules all that well and dont want to infringe on them. But yah we have talked before lol

Seems like the kok is coming in but not very big, everyone tells me it is a boy but I think in a couple of weeks ill flip it upside down and take a picture for yall to let me know for sure. I do want to get another fish but need to sex out what I have prior to buying.
