ive been creeping around for a few months but havent made a post yet. i have a 210 gallon tank i used for turtles but i sold them all and now i wanna go with monster fish. the tank was drilled and set up as a reef tank before i had it with over flows. i plugged all the holes with bulk head fittings and used canister filters. my biggest problem is figuring out what kind of fish i want to keep. i kind of want to keep a few bass and channel cats out of the lake i live near and make a natural looking set up. but everytime i see a tank set up a certain way it makes me change my mind. im also considering keeping alot of small fish and making a community tank. any way i will keep looking and try to come up with an answer that will be the best for me. thanks for reading

Well, if you cant choose for yourself. What do you think your wife/husband/kids/parents would rather want?

I know, my mom likes cute little fish that school...so thats what i have (had to move back in with my mom recent)

live on my own, 24 not married no kids. i do have a girlfriend thats always here, but she doesnt care either way. im trying to remove the overflows in my tank. they are siliconed to the glass and ive been scraping and scraping and i cant get them to come off. ive been looking around and everyone says elbow grease. ive been fighting with them all day. i scraped all the silicone i can get to off but i cant get inside the overflows to scrape. my arms arent long enough

I think its a pretty cool idea if you catch your own local fish to put into the tank, however it also sounds like you are easily swayed by whatever else you see... so perhaps you can do a mix. what kind of bass are in your area that you were considering?

Maybe too late, but I'd leave the over flows as well. It's a good way to add extra filtration and other options such as sumps, algae turf scrubbing, etc. But good luck in what ever you decide and let us know!
