Hi i am new on here , but i have been keeping fish for many years. I have had fresh and saltwater, just about anything you can keep. I just recently finish building a 718 gallon plywood aquarium. The measurement are 8 ft x 4 ft x 3 ft. Now that it is done i am having a hard time trying to decided what to put in it. Do any body have any suggestions It will be freshwater.

You have loads of possibilities, you could go African Tiger Fish, you could go arowana, you could go peacock bass, you could go red tail catfish or tigrinnus catfish, or some lima shovelnoses catfish. Or a huge group of bichir would look great. Its really all up to personal preference. You could do Payara, bowfin, so many options for that size. Gar would do great in there, maybe not a gator but a long nose gar would be great for life in there

Welcome to MFK! Theres a lot of possibilities with a tank that size. I would make it a large pred community or make or a central cichlid tank
