I have a 55 gallon sitting in my house with nothing in it but a big pleco. I want to make it into a planted tank. I am uncertain of a few things... First off the lighting - Im sure my light sources arent sufficient for most plants but I was going to use low light required plants anyway, however the tank is located in a room made entirely of glass so the tank would get a lot of sunlight. Will the sunlight make up for what my lights lack? Second thing is what fish should I stock it with? I am looking for medium to large size fish that are fun to watch and also will not disturb my plants. Any tips, info, or ideas is greatly appreciated!
