I just want to introduce myself; I'm not exactly new to owning fish, just new to doing it correctly LOL. I wish this website was around when I was in high school. I had some red belly piranhas and I made just about every mistake you can make. I knew nothing about water Ph, changing filters, bi-weekly water changes (I did 100% water changes only when the tank stunk). But, surprisingly I didn't kill the fish. Anyway, I've been learning a lot reading the post on this website. I'm currently getting my 180 gallon tank ready for some red tail payara. I do have some questions regarding those fish, but I'll post them in the correct section.
