So i decided that im bored with freshwater fish and have an empty 210 waiting for a nice salty setup....ive done a little bit of research and came up with a good amount of things i should do to just get the thing setup over to salt...what is a basic list of things i should buy/do to get this thing rolling... so far...i have a 55 gal sump setup along with a pair of fluvals for filtration a good selection of heating options...

looks to me like you're ready to go.
get salt, live rock, live sand if you can, and some powerheads/wavemakers. it'd be good to have part of the sump as a refugium, too.

IMO id dump the fluvals. Not needed with a 55gal sump. All there gunna do is collect Nitrate and make your refugium work harder. Add 4 powerheads with say a mag 24 return and you should be golden. 210's are a pain to pump only because there so tall but angled correctly and you can get a ton of flow in there and be just fine. Are you intending on adding coral?? If so you lights will either need to be a lot of VHO bulbs or Halides. Id go with halides only because the tank is so tall, assuming its a standard 210/29inch tall. Supplement with some VHO actinics and you'll be sitting nicely.
