Hi, I'm new to the site. My name is David, I have been getting into the hobby of keeping native predatory fish that I catch here in South Florida. South Florida's climate allows for a number of exotic fish species to thrive here, many of which are not actually "native," but were from South America and have thrived here becoming part of the ecosystem. I have two 55 gallon tanks with 2 largemouth bass, 2 peacock bass, 3 mayan cichlids, 2 warmouth, 4 catfish, 2 plecostamus, and 2 bream all caught by me and my friend victor. These fish are all under 3 inches and are released back to where I caught them when they outgrow the tank. I'm glad to be a part of the Monsterfishkeepers site.
