new to the site

hi i am new to the site, i recently started to keep red bellied pirhana i would appreciate any advice on feeding or keeping them healthy i have had them for 6 weeks now only prob i have had was they didn't like the light and would not feed if i left it on, the only change i have noticed is a gold stripe along the spine is this normal, any feedback at all will help and any ideas if pellets are good food mine only seem to like bloodworm, i have tried shrimp and lance fish no good chers frankie

Howdy & Welcome to MFK! As fishnutham said, we have a special forum for your needs with quite some expertise For a start, you could try to introduce some floating plants, like water lettuce, to dim the light a bit
