Hello everyone!.. i'm new to this site and it took me awhile to find the post new thread lol. Pretty big site. I have several questions about my freshwater stingray. I've researced a bit about her diet and found that she would eat shrimp and earthworms. Is that true? I've been feeding her feeder fish but scared that she might get a parasite from live foods. Could someone help me? I would greatly appreciate it. tiff

dunno anything about rays.....but welcome anyway!

If you have any questions about freshwater stingrays, please post them here so you will get better and accurate responses.

If you intend to use feeder fish, please quarantine those fish for at least 3-4 weeks and treat them with praziquantel to destroy flukes and internal parasites that they may have. On the other hand, due to the risks of transmissions in feeder fish, I would not recommend using them. Use other options such as beefheart, chopped earthworms, bloodworms, etc.
