Ok, I'm new to keeping them but I have always had a passion for piranhas ever seine my dad brought me home a dried piranha from a business trip when I was three. Even seine that day I had dreamed of one day owning piranhas and then i go to my local pet store and they have them! I was so excited! I did a little research on how big RBP get and i got a tank and everything ready then i went down and bought my first few juveniles! Finally my dream had come true! The dream i had for 15 years had come true! I love my piranhas so much i refer to the as "my babies" right now i have 2 of them named Freddy and Jason they are in a 35 gallon tank right now and i do 10-50% water changes a week (the amount of water i take out depends on the water quality because they like to hide the food i drop in there) i keep the tank at around 75-80 degrees F and i feed them shrimp and beef. I really love these little guys and i just wanted to know if i'm doing everything right and i was wondering if i will have to upgrade my tank when my babies get old?
Thank you all verry much!;)

Welcome and congrats, first Yes you will have to upgrade and you may think of adding one more for a total of three to lessen the agress you will have with them you can get away with a 55g with three but a 75g would be best for life with that many as far as food goes shrimp, talipia, catfish pellets, smelt are what I feed mine I don't do live feed to many risk for me others will chime in good luck with your new fish.........
