i have a 150 gallon freshwater tank, it currently has: an 10'' silver arowana, 10" clown knife, 6" "teacup" stingray. Now my problem is that I'm looking for something rare, ALBINO, and affordable. a middle level swimmer would be nice, but I'm not interested in fish such a oscars or sharks, or pleacos or catfish for my tank. so any suggestions?

Welcome to MFK. :)

For starters, unfortunately your current stock is going to require a much larger tank pretty soon, so unless you already have plans to upgrade or rehome your current fish, I wouldn't suggest adding more; but as for the fish you're looking for: the words "rare" and "albino" don't go very well with the word "affordable..." The closest thing I can think of to fit the given criteria would be albino tinfoils.

Welcome to MFK.

First of all you posted this thread in the wrong part of the forums. Second of all, your current stock is going to require a much larger tank, and lastly, you could try an albino bichir of some sort

we are going to build a 304 gallon plywood and plexiglass tank since everyone is so nosey and no its not actually overstocked. ive already found more interesting fish than that at local pet stores, ill stick to what i find but thanks anyway.

if you want peoples help you have to except what they tell you. Dont get off to a bad start on this site by telling people what they say isnt true and not what you wanna hear. Your tank will be overstocked within a year or so. Also theres no suc thing as a teacup stingray its just a name to get people to buy them. If you want rare fish you have to expect to pay a lil more than you would for common or uncommon fish. You need to tell us about what you want so we know what to suggest....

alot of large cichlids come in albino or atleast a "white" version. i like ur stock. no one is being nosey just making an observation we dont know ur background or how far ur knowledge on fish keeping is since ur "new to this site" . for all we know someone once upon a time told you ur tank was a good perminent home....hence why people are starting of with stating ur first problem at hand. no fish keeper here will tell u add more, bigger fish without making sure ur understanding that you need to upgrade as it is. that being said are interested in cichlids im sure someone can mention a few albino or atleast whitish ones.
