hi everyone, do you need to setup a setting for the fish to breed, or do they just do it?

what fish? where are they from? you have to make your tank as close to natural as possible and even then many many fish cannot breed in an aquarium. you sound like a real begginer. let me suggest you get the hang of keeping fish before you try breeding them.

It depends on the fish, some will just breed, other breed with a little conditioning, some are a major pain, and some won't breed at all.
