I have got a 265G tank that I plan on setting up after i get a stand built. And i have never owned or dealt with a tank larger than 75g. So i plan on making a wet/dry filter for this 265g and I have read several threads about it and this is what i have planned on from what i gathered here on mfk (thanks).

---------------------Ok the tank that i have available for this build is only a standard 55g which is about 1/5th of the 265g. I understand that this is too small by the standard. But for now this is what i have. So that being said what can i do to the plan i have to maximize the bio of this wet/dry. i figure with the drawing i have now that the bio chamber will be about 36'' long and 16'' deep. I could make it deeper by filling the bio material all the way to the bottom of the tank and that would gain me another 3'' of bio material. I plan to use scrubbies in the bio chamber. The other filters on the tank will be 2 emperor 400's and a magnum 350 canister and also 3 400gph power heads hooked to sponges. The power heads are for directional flow. I am keeping 3 redtail payara, 3 hujeta characins, 2 bichirs, And i plan on getting 3-5 redtail barracuda's (falcatus) and maybe some more payara. please tell me what you think and could you recommend a pump for this application and also maybe some links or something for overflows? -----thanks alot for the help

if your worried about not having enough bio filtration you could just fill the first chamber with some sponges.
