New to wet/dry

Hey, guys. I'm trading a 55g tank for a 110g gallon tomorrow (yay Craig's List).

Anyhow, I'd like to make a wet/dry for this tank, and I've found a lot of good information here, but I have a question. Would a 20g aquarium make a large enough sump for a 110g?

Also, I wanted to make a sump like this:

I get that the output could be a spraybar, etc., but how is the intake set up?

You need to get an overflow box if the tank is not drilled

Look here in the classifieds or ebay for a cheap 600 gpg overflow box and you should be good to go.
