Hi Ya'll I'm Michelle, and I'm new to the Monster Fishkeepers Forum- but not so much to Monster Fish~ though we don't currently have a big supply, we're working on it.
My oldest son is the main fish keeper in our home, and I do what I can to support his interest in fish, and his desire to become an ichthyologist. With him, we joined the Tampa Bay Aquarium Society, and I have realized that I love fish almost as much as he does.
I have not joined your forum before now, bc being a full time mom of 3, and working 2 part time jobs (one in sales, and one with my own business in web design, marketing and SEO) I do not have a lot of spare time, but the aquarium society has tasked me with helping them to market the club and special events so I thought that this would be a good place to start.
We have 7 tanks up and running, and some of the occupants include Roger a gorgeous Flowerhorn. TI and Tiny Peacock Bass, A wild Oscar, a pair of wild Dwarf Pikes, a regular Pike, several Africans, and others.. Forgive me that I don't remember their proper names, as that is my son's specialty.
The TBAS is having a huge fish auction this weekend with about a thousand fish available, and I will be creating another post with information about it.
