Hi fish lovers,
I am a fifth grade teacher in Homer, Alaska.
A fisheries biologist friend of mine recently donated a 55 gallon tank, a jaguar cichlid and a tilapia buttikoferi to my class.
This has raised a few questions and brought me here. I will post my questions in cichlid forum.
My hopes are too eventually (perhaps next year) turn this into a cold saltwater set up so that I could have some fish from our local environment.
