I don't know why I didn't do this earlier, but some high volume projects caused me to revisit this idea. The syringe looking thing is a 'turkey flavor injector' sold at Walley World in the kitchen section (three bucks and change). The orientation of the air valves is important so that air is sucked in through one as the piston is extended and expelled through the other as the piston is compressed.

awesome idea! I've got a ton of syringes at work, I'll make one of these as a backup to the aqualifter.

Three bucks in the kitchen isle and three bucks in the fish isle, and you are good to go. It can all be bought at Walmart.

dude..... too bad i cant return that aqualifter i bought awhile back that i still have not used lol...... nice work as always chomps.
