I still wanna try the brightwell bio bricks kinda surrounded by bio balls so that I can lower the height of my bio towers and probably increase bioload capacity . But we shall see.

I have 3 gallons of bio balls in my oceanic model 70. Pushing 450 gph, 75 gallon tank. With about 40 medium, Mbuna.
And about 80 sq inches of 60 watt led lights, on an algae scrubber.

Stands are 30" tall I believe and tank is 30" tall. I asked in another thread about newer filtration media and the only responses were pot scrubbies.

I have water going through two sponge areas, then I'll have a closed loop feed the 35 gallons of bioballs. They'll get a little dirty over time, but the design of this sump is a really good one. I do appreciate the link you gave me, but at this time I'm kind of committed to my 7 boxes of balls and $300 investment.

A 5 gallon size bucket of bio balls fills about a cubic foot
