New trimac

Any helpful advice? He's about 4'' with my 9'' dempsey. No agression whatsoever. =)
Do you think these two can eventually breed?

I agree your JD's doomed once that Trimac gets settled in and get some size on him. I've kept pure Trimacs on several different occasions and they are killers. Its nearly impossible to keep them in a tank with anything unless your lucky.

Nah..I don't really want them to. Just wondering if the wallago would have new feeders. IF they did have babys..I might have rescued on to see what it turned out like. =)

I own a 8 inch trimac and he killed a lot of fish much bgger then him. Give your trimac a few weeks to get comfortable and he'll kill your JD at there current size.

it'll come down to the personality and sex of your trimac and possibly even more importantly the tank size. if you want the trimac to get along with anything else then chances are you'll need a very large tank. my ~10" male trimac is ina 75 and tries to attack fish in the neighboring tanks. he's been kept by himself his whole life though. the bigger the tank the better though and I don't think anything under a 125 would even stand a chance of allowing those 2 to get along once the trimac matures.
