Just picked up a 4" TSN from my LFS for 11 bucks!
Now I'm just trying to figure out where to put him:nilly:
I've got these tanks and I need to put him somewhere
20 Gal. 6"Arowana, 6"Jag
10 Gal. Hex Empty
40 Gal. 6"GT, 4"JD, Syno Cat
75 Gal. 9"Pbass, 7"RTC, 2 Tinfoil Barbs, Con Pair.

Where would you guys reccomend putting him?

Just so nobody starts telling me I need bigger tanks in the future I have a 155 Cycling and 2 600 Gallon ponds on the side of my house.

Well start them off in the largest tank possible. Looks like all your tanks are pretty much at capacity for a fish that grows as fast as this one. I hope that your ponds are well insulated and heated during the winter. This fish can only handle temps of upper 60s for short periods of time. Maybe if you green house them in or something. I'd start him in the 75 gal with the rtc, because odds are that he will be living with him in the ponds right? They grow similarly fast. 1-3" per month depending on if they are properly fed. You could stunt them like everyone else, but if you want them happy and healthy fed them a proper diet, and don't overfeed. You'll need to monitor the nitrates very closely. Rtc especially like to regurgitate food when overfed. Just be carefull and you should be fine until you get them into a bigger tank. You probably have about 5 months before they need to be out of the 75 gal, and another 6-10 months before they will need a larger home than the 155 gal. The 600 gal pond should do them for life, but you'll need to make sure that you have proper heating arrangements for the winter. Good luck.

Thanks for your response!
The ponds will most likely be set up inside my basement. They are just outside for storage at the moment. The RTC and the TSN will be in the ponds as you suspected. The only fish I am worried about would be the Peacock. Do you think he'll bother with him at all?

didn't even think about that. I am with you on that one. You might want to put him in another tank till your 155 is through cycling. After that you could move the peacock up a tank, and move the tsn to the 75 gal. Get some cultured bacteria to help cycle your tank, also are you doing a fishless cycle?

Yup fishless cycle. My first attempt at a sump filter so I'm just waiting to make sure everything is ok. I plan on putting the Pbass tinfoils and RTC into the 155 once it is ready. I'll be getting rid of the convicts soon, either feeding them to my Largemouth or the RTC will eat them soon hopefully! I was going to put him in with the Arowana. I've got a 55 Gallon that I'm getting for free tomorrow.

I'd use a filter off of one of your tanks that is already setup and put him in the 55 for now. I've used this trick before. There is a lot of bacteria in the gravel bed of your tanks if you have substrate. So you are safe so long as you don't overfeed the tank you switch the filter off of. You can just put the new filter on the established tank, and put the established filter on the new tank. Works great for me anyway.

I agree on puttin him in your new 55g that will buy you some time.I agree with necrocanis on your gravel holdin lot's of bacteria(especially if you use undergravel filters). When I set up a new tank I try to take as much water as possible out of other tanks, and I run over the top filters on my tanks(almost all emp. 400's the one's with 2 pads) that way when I set up a new tank I can use one of my old filters from another tank and one new filter, not disagreeing with necrocanis just a method that I use, so that way I aint strippin my old tank of both filters, always worked so far. Could work the same if you are using similar canisters.

RTC is going to be your problem.. He will outgrow and eventually eat both the TSN and Pbass..(sooner than you think)

miles is right that could happen. I had a 24" rtc eat a 18" large mouth bass before, but I have also kept a 30" rtc x tsn hybrid with two way smaller catfish for over a year and half with no problems. Luck of the draw I think. Best thing is to feed your rtc on shrimp or beefheart. Get him use to eating only prepared foods and not live foods. It's probably your best bet for curbing his appetite, that and keeping him well fed. Only problem there is nitrates, you'll have to do tons of water changes, litterally. It's a pain, but if you love your catfish large and in charge that's what you have to do.
