sorry for the crappy quality my digital isn't the best for fish all the time. the first 2 are the same fish.

any thoughts on them being diff kinds of tsn? they all have diff numbers of spots on the white and one has none. they could be the same though....ideas/exp. in future patterns being diff with diff spot patterns when young?

I can't tell from the photos really, but I know there are several different types of patterns types amongst TSNs. As they age, you could end up with two nicely different looking TSNs.

As for them going after the 10" JD... With a good diet and a proper sized home, I would guess you would have about 10-12 months, before they start looking at him as dinner. :) I have a TSN and a hybrid RTCxTSN that I've raised since they were 3.5", as well as another TSN that I picked up at about 14-15". The TSN that I got at 15" this past winter is now 25" and trying really hard to eat my 11" tinfoils. If she wasn't fed so well, I'm sure there would be no tinfoils in the tank. I've already rescued one out of her mouth. The TSN I got a year ago at 3.5" is only about 18". However, I think there may be something slightly wrong with him though as his body shape just seems slightly odd, and he doesn't seem to be growing really well like the other two cats. The RTCxTSN is was 3.5" last July and is now 23". He also is guilty of grabbing the tinfoils who have now twice been saved from him (just a couple more weeks till my new tank though fortunately.)

Congrats on your two new little beasts in the making.
