I am thinking of crossing lines and turning one of my tanks into a turtle tank. I was hoping that I could use my 20L, but I am a big advocate of keeping animals in tanks that are far larger than they are, ie I have a 75 gallon tank with 2 3" fish. So I need to know if there are any turtles out there that stay tiny. I guess you could say im looking for a mini-turt, I know its not very monster, but I knew you guys would help anyway!:naughty:

This is probably a long shot, but are there any turtles that stay around 3"?

Yup, that is a longshot. Male Egyptian tortoises only get 3-4 inches long. But you seem to be looking for a water turtle.

A mud or musk would do well in a 20L for a long time.
Baby musks are quite adorable too!
Here are some pics of a razorback and a loggerhead

Stinkpots are probably your best bet, but even they do better with more room. I wouldn't keep one for life in a 20 long. A 40 breeder would be better.
