Hey, awhile back I posted some pics of my 2” Rio meta Orinos in their growout tanksand a couple of you guys wanted pics of the 180 that they were going to bemoved to. Well, I was in the middle of moving out at the time and things weregetting really busy for me so I forgot. Its been a couple months since I movedand everything is settled now so I figured I would share.

The orinos are now 6-7” and have been movedinto the 180g. I also have a 12-13” Mono, 9”Jag, 12” Pleco, 2 Ornate Bichirs, 1Senegal Bichir and some mixed Africans and a convict that were supposed to be feeders but survived living together in the community. Odd mix but they all getalong with each other so I left it.

Thetank is 72”x24”x25”. Its on a DIY stand that I built before I moved. Sandbottom, with driftwood and plants. Fluval Fx5 and AC110.
Sohere are the pics. Sorry for the cloudy water, the pleco decided to kick up thesand at the start of the photo session. Got some ok pics after the dustsettled. I’ll show him having fun in the pics. Enjoy

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments

Nice cichla! Looks like the pleco was shreddin through the sand.

Yeah, he likes to disrupt most of my photo shoots with some sort of sand sifting frenzy. He never does it until i get the camera out. Kind of a pain in the ass but he was one of my first fish so gotta love him. I've had him for over 4 years now. Bought him when he was only 1" long from petsmart. Hes a bruiser, doesnt take no s#!% from any of my other fish.

Nice collection :) been wanting a jag for my tank but was afraid of their bad ass temperament

The mono and the jag grew up together in the same tank from when they were both 2". I wouldnt say its been easy getting them to live peacefully together, but now they are best friends and will actually school together. Its cool watching all three bass and the jag swimming together. They still have their occasional fights, and every now and then i see new scrapes on one of them but for the most part i really dont have many issues with compatibilty. I have angels and africans in the tank which kind of spreads the aggression out, seems to be working.
