I'm getting a 75g tomorrow. I'm excited on getting a big tank, but I'm also worried about the condition of the tank. They guy I'm getting it from said he hasn't used it in years. He even said that the last fish's skeleton is still in the tank. But I need a bigger tank so I can run less tanks in the house. I feel bad for my 11" Clown Knife because I put him in a 29g for the time being so I can grow out some Dats. It might even be cheaper on the electricity bill. I'll post up some pics when I get it.

geeze! talk about getting out of the hobby abruptly

75 is not big... it is a start... and your poor CK... but often people get out of fish so fast that I believe that the tank was unplugged and then build the garage around it...

Jused picked up the tank. Man! Looked like he had a pretty decent size fish in there by looking at the skeleton. Looks to actually be a 50g or maybe a 60g. Definitely not a 75g. Doesn't really matter...it's free. He wasn't kidding about the cleaning. My Dad said he would clean it for me. My Dad rocks!:headbang2 I would've taken pictures so you guys could've saw how nasty it was, but I forgot my camera at my house and the tank is at my Parents' house.

Check the silicone seals. push on the thickest part of the seam to see if the ends pull away from the glass...if they do then it's time to reseal the tank before you set it up. if not...then your good to go.

Yeah...I plan on resealing the tank anyways. Just to be safe. ;)
